Every product on this site is sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory and pre-clinical research use. This page restates that condition explicitly so buyers can never claim they didn't see it.

1. Not approved for human or veterinary use

None of the products on this site is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration, the European Medicines Agency, the China National Medical Products Administration, or any other regulator for use in humans or animals. They are not drugs. They are not dietary supplements. They are not cosmetics. They are research chemicals intended for use by qualified researchers in laboratory settings.

2. No medical claims

We make no statement on this site or in any communication about treating, diagnosing, curing, preventing, or mitigating any disease in humans or animals. Material we publish about the scientific literature is for reference only and is not medical advice. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for matters of personal health.

3. Who may purchase

Sales are restricted to:

  • Academic and government research institutions and the researchers affiliated with them
  • Contract research organizations and analytical laboratories
  • Industry research and development groups conducting in-vitro or pre-clinical work
  • Vetted independent researchers age 21 and older who confirm research intent at checkout

We reserve the right to ask for institutional affiliation, a purchase order, or a brief description of the research program for any order we choose to review.

4. Buyer responsibilities

By purchasing you agree to: handle the materials according to your institution's biosafety policy and applicable law; not consume the materials yourself or administer them to humans or animals; not resell, repackage, or redistribute the materials to consumers; dispose of unused or expired materials through your institution's chemical waste pipeline.

5. Restricted destinations

We do not ship to the following jurisdictions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, the Donetsk People's Republic, and the Luhansk People's Republic, plus any party listed on the US Bureau of Industry and Security Entity List or any equivalent successor list.

6. No warranty beyond COA

Each shipment includes the HPLC certificate of analysis for its batch. The COA is our complete representation of product quality. No warranty, express or implied, extends beyond what the COA states.

7. Misuse waives remedy

If you use a product in a manner inconsistent with this disclaimer, you waive any remedy against Vesta arising from that misuse, and you indemnify us against any third-party claim resulting from it.
