What is Zocon Dt 50mg (FLUCONAZOLE)?
Vaginal candidiasis (single 150mg dose), oropharyngeal/esophageal candidiasis, cryptococcal meningitis, and systemic fungal infections. Prophylaxis in immunocompromised patients.
How it Works
Inhibits fungal 14-alpha-demethylase (CYP51), blocking ergosterol synthesis and disrupting fungal cell membrane integrity. Excellent oral bioavailability.
