What is Trazosig 50mg (TRAZODONE)?
Atypical antidepressant for MDD. Widely used at low doses (25–100mg) for insomnia due to potent H1/alpha-1 antagonism. Also for depression with insomnia comorbidity.
How it Works
SSRI, 5-HT2A antagonist, and H1 antihistamine. At low doses, H1 and alpha-1 antagonism dominate (sedation). At antidepressant doses, serotonin reuptake inhibition predominates.
