What is Terbest 250mg (TERBINAFINE)?
First-line oral antifungal for onychomycosis (nail fungus) and tinea corporis/pedis/capitis. Highly effective against dermatophytes. Fungicidal (kills fungi rather than inhibiting growth).
How it Works
Inhibits fungal squalene epoxidase — blocks ergosterol synthesis early in the pathway. Squalene accumulates causing fungal membrane disruption and cell death.
