What is Semax?

Semax (ACTH(4-10) derivative — cognitive neuropeptide) is a 7-amino acid synthetic ACTH(4-10) derivative. ACTH(4-10) derivative upregulating BDNF and NGF expression in multiple brain regions, modulating monoaminergic systems (dopamine, serotonin, noradrenaline), and producing neuroprotection in cerebral ischemia models.
