What is Gonadorelin??

Gonadorelin (CAS 33515-09-2) is the synthetic form of endogenous gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH / LHRH) — a 10-amino acid hypothalamic decapeptide (pGlu-His-Trp-Ser-Tyr-Gly-Leu-Arg-Pro-Gly-NH₂). Molecular formula C₅₅H₇₅N₁₇O₁₃, MW 1182.31 g/mol. Released in pulses from hypothalamic GnRH neurons, it binds the GnRHR (Gq/PLC/IP₃) on anterior pituitary gonadotrophs — stimulating LH and FSH synthesis and secretion. Pulsatile gonadorelin activates the HPG axis; continuous administration causes receptor downregulation and gonadotropin suppression — making it the definitive tool for studying pulse-dependent HPG axis regulation.

Research Applications

HPG Axis Pulsatility

Pulsatile vs. continuous GnRHR stimulation, LH/FSH pulse amplitude and frequency regulation

GnRH Receptor Pharmacology

GnRHR binding kinetics, Gq/PLC/IP₃ signalling, receptor internalisation, desensitisation

Gonadotropin Secretion

LH and FSH release from anterior pituitary gonadotrophs, surge vs. tonic secretion modelling

Male Reproductive Research

Testosterone axis (GnRH→LH→Leydig→T), spermatogenesis, hypogonadotropic hypogonadism models

Female Reproductive Biology

Folliculogenesis, ovulation induction, estradiol/progesterone cycling, PCOS models

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reconstitute this peptide?
Add 1–2mL bacteriostatic water to the lyophilized vial by directing water down the inner wall of the vial. Swirl gently until the powder fully dissolves — do not shake or vortex. The solution should be clear and colourless. Use immediately or refrigerate at 2–8°C.
How should this peptide be stored?
Store lyophilized peptide vials at −20°C for long-term storage. Once reconstituted, store at 2–8°C (refrigerator) and use within 21–28 days. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, direct light, and heat exposure.
What purity is this Vesta compound and how is it verified?
All Vesta compounds are tested to ≥99% purity by HPLC peak area analysis on every production batch. Molecular identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is published on the product page and independently verifiable at verify.janoshik.com using the batch reference number.
