What is Moxiflot 400mg (MOXIFLOXACIN)?
Broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone for community-acquired pneumonia, acute bacterial sinusitis, skin infections, and intra-abdominal infections. Active against atypicals and many resistant organisms.
How it Works
Inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV — prevents DNA replication and repair. Broad spectrum including gram-positive, gram-negative, and anaerobic bacteria.

GI effects (nausea, diarrhea), headache, dizziness, QT prolongation, photosensitivity, tendon damage.
Safety Warnings
QT prolongation — contraindicated with other QT-prolonging drugs, hypokalemia, structural heart disease. Tendon rupture risk (especially Achilles, especially with steroids or in elderly). Avoid in pregnancy and children. Hepatotoxicity risk. International shipping: 7–14 days
