What is Mirnite 7.5mg (MIRTAZAPINE)?
Atypical antidepressant (NaSSA) for MDD — particularly useful when insomnia, anxiety, and poor appetite/weight loss are prominent. Antiemetic properties useful in chemotherapy patients.
How it Works
Alpha-2 adrenergic receptor antagonist (increases NE/serotonin release), 5-HT2 and 5-HT3 antagonist, and strong H1 antihistamine (causes sedation and appetite stimulation).

Common Side Effects
Sedation (most common, usually beneficial), significant weight gain and appetite increase, dry mouth, constipation. Fewer sexual side effects than SSRIs.
Safety Warnings
Low doses (7.5–15mg) MORE sedating than higher doses (30–45mg) — H1 dominance at low doses. MAOIs absolutely contraindicated. Agranulocytosis (rare — check CBC if fever/infection). International shipping: 7–14 days
